Stitchfinder: Knit Trim: Feather and Fan
Skill level: Intermediate
A traditional Shetland lace stitch has been adapted to make an attractive border.
Method
Cast on a multiple of 17 sts.
1st row (RS) K.
2nd row P.
3rd row * K 2 tog 3 times, [ yo, k 1] 5 times,
yo, k 2 tog 3 times; repeat from * to end.
4th row K.
Repeat 1st-4th rows once more, then repeat 1st and 2nd rows again.
Decrease row (RS) * K 3, [k 2 tog twice, k 3] twice; repeat from * to end.
Bind off.
